Rose quartz can be found almost all over the world – including in Brazil (Araçuaí, Minas Gerais), USA, Japan, the Malagasy Republic, India, Namibia, Russia, France, Germany, Switzerland, and the highest quality stones come from Madagascar. In Poland, it occurs in pegmatite deposits (igneous rocks, usually with a granite composition, which is made up of exceptionally large, but varied in size, crystals) in the Owl Mountains and the Izera Mountains.
